LMB Summer Newsletter
We have officially unveiled the Love Liberty and Hustle murals by Ben Johnston here at the Liberty Market Building. We hope you love this addition just as much as we do. We wanted to celebrate the creative, cultural hub that Liberty Village is today; we feel that these murals capture the urban vibrancy, industrial history, entrepreneurial culture, and the resounding sense of pride within the Liberty Village Community, and that’s why we #LoveLibertyTO.
The Love Liberty mural is located in the middle of the LMB Galleria, and the Hustle mural is located on the freight elevator doors just beside the east entrance of the LMB Galleria.
Let’s show off why we, the people who live, work and play here, love Liberty Village! So, take your pictures of the murals, tag #LoveLibertyTO, and let us know why you #LoveLibertyTO. You may just win a gift card to spend in our beloved Liberty Village.

On behalf of the Liberty Market Building Team, in partnership with Lifetime Developments and its charitable foundation, Lifeline, we are proud to announce the 2016 Children’s Book Drive – our second annual donation drive – that will take place between May 15 to July 15, 2016 here at LMB!
Established in 2014, Lifeline is dedicated to building healthy communities in Toronto and to making a lasting difference by raising awareness and funds, while facilitating various hands-on initiatives to improve the lives of those in need.
All donated books will be contributed to the Children’s Book Bank – a charitable organization whose mission is to provide children’s books and literacy programs to underprivileged children. The Children’s Book Bank operates like a children’s bookstore, except that the books are available at absolutely no cost. Since 2008, Children’s Book Bank has distributed an average of 250 books per day!
HOW YOU CAN HELP
– Drop-off new or gently-used children’s books between now and July 15, 2016 to the LMB Property Management Office (Suite 218), OR
– Pick-up a donation box at the Property Management Office (Suite 218). We strongly encourage you to get your office, family and friends involved by placing a donation box in your office so that it can be filled with books to help encourage education and literacy amongst children in our beloved city.
Books must be:
– New or gently-used (no missing or torn pages, or pages with colouring/writing on them)
– Suitable for children up to grade six (no teen or adult books); and
– Printed within the last ten (10) years (print date of 2006 – present).
If you cannot donate books, but would still like to make a contribution towards this cause, please visit Lifeline to make a donation.
You’re invited to celebrate the unveiling of two new art installations at the Liberty Market Building on Thursday, June 9 at 1:00 pm with snacks, refreshments, and music!

Remarks from the developer, the local Councillor and Member of Provincial Parliament about the evolution of Liberty Village into the vibrant community it is today, will follow the unveiling of the murals.
