BOOK DRIVE

On behalf of the Liberty Market Building Team, in partnership with Lifetime Developments and its charitable foundation, Lifeline, we are proud to announce the 2016 Children’s Book Drive – our second annual donation drive – that will take place between May 15 to July 15, 2016 here at LMB!

Established in 2014, Lifeline is dedicated to building healthy communities in Toronto and to making a lasting difference by raising awareness and funds, while facilitating various hands-on initiatives to improve the lives of those in need.

All donated books will be contributed to the Children’s Book Bank – a charitable organization whose mission is to provide children’s books and literacy programs to underprivileged children. The Children’s Book Bank operates like a children’s bookstore, except that the books are available at absolutely no cost. Since 2008, Children’s Book Bank has distributed an average of 250 books per day!

HOW YOU CAN HELP

– Drop-off new or gently-used children’s books between now and July 15, 2016 to the LMB Property Management Office (Suite 218), OR
– Pick-up a donation box at the Property Management Office (Suite 218). We strongly encourage you to get your office, family and friends involved by placing a donation box in your office so that it can be filled with books to help encourage education and literacy amongst children in our beloved city.
